Oukitel K8000 to be the First Smartphone to Feature 8000mAh Battery
A new Oukitel phone is coming and it is the Oukitel K8000 – the first smartphone in the world to feature 8000mAh battery.
Oukitel K8000 is the latest inclusion to the Oukitel K series and it is going to come with a display that is different from the others in the K series as it will feature a Samsung AMOLED display.
The 8000mAh battery boast of 5 days of battery life on a single charge. That of course depends on how you use the device, but you shouldn’t expect anything less from a smartphone with the second largest battery in the world. The smartphones topping the list of smartphones with large battery capacity being Oukitel K10000, Oukitel K10000 Pro and Oukitel K10000 Max – all featuring 10,000mAh battery.
The K8000 will support quick charger and will be shipped with a 9V/2A flash charger to enable it charge up very quickly.
Oukitel K8000 will feature 5.5-inch HD display, and like we said earlier, it is going to be Samsung AMOLED display which is self-luminous.
The idea behind opting in for AMOLED display is to extend the battery life of the the device because display is one of the things that drains battery most on smartphones.
On the inside, the Oukitel K8000 will sport Android 7.0 Nougat OS with optimized power saving system to help you get more out of the already big battery.
Still on the inside, the device will be powered by MediaTek MT6750T octa-core chipset that is based on Cortex A53 architecture and clocks at the speed of 1.5GHz.
The MTK chipset will be coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage which we believe will be expandable.
The device will feature a similar camera configuration to that of newly announced Oukitel Mix 2, but with slight modification.
Oukitel K8000 will come with 16MP + 2MP back camera and a 13MP front camera with 80 degree wide angle. In contrast, Oukitel Mix 2 will come with 21MP + 2MP back camera and a 13MP front camera.
The price and launch date of this device is yet to be announced, but stay tuned, we will keep you posted as soon as we gather more information on that.
