Oukitel Announces 4G Version of the Oukitel C8
For those who don’t know yet, Oukitel C8 is arguably the cheapest Android smartphone you will find with Infinity display. The smartphone has everything you would want in an affordable smartphone except 4G network.
To make up for that, Oukitel has started working on the 4G version of the smartphone.
The 4G version will feature a different MediaTek chipset (MT6737), which makes it possible for it to support 4G network.
MT6737 still comes with quad-core processor though, which is the same number of processors in the non 4G version of the Oukitel C8.
Oukitel C8 4G will still have feature infinity display with an aspect ratio of 18:9, 5.5-inch 2.5D curved display, Android Nougat, 2G RAM, 16GB ROM (expandable to up to 64 GB with micro SD card), 3000mAh battery and rear mounted fingerprint scanner.
Basically, the 4G version of the smartphone has the same specs as the non 4G version, with the 4G network being the only differentiator.
Oukitel C8 4G version will retail for $89.99 when available. That is just about $20 more than the non 4G version.
The pre-order for the smartphone has be scheduled to start before the 11.11 shopping season and you will be able to get the phone at price lower than the official retail price during pre-order.
